Professor of Medicine, Pharmacology, and Physiology
Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science
Michael Camilleri, M.D., D.Sc., is Professor of Medicine, Pharmacology, and Physiology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and Consultant in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. His research interests include clinical enteric neurosciences, gut neurohormonal control, obesity, irritable bowel syndrome, and pharmacology/pharmacogenomics. He has published ~1300 articles (H index 104 and >40k citations, >35k without self-citation). He has received numerous awards and honors including the Joseph B. Kirsner Award and the Julius Friedenwald Medal from the American Gastroenterological Association, and the Ismar Boas Medal from the German Society of Digestive and Metabolic Disease. He has mentored more than 80 national/international postdoctoral fellows/scientists. He is Past-President of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society, the founding editor of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and is currently an associate editor of Gut.

Clinical Professor, Department of Medicine
Dr. Ronald Hsu is a gastroenterologist and advanced therapeutic endoscopist with expertise in endoscopic eradication therapy for Barrett’s esophagus, dysplasia, and other gastrointestinal conditions. He has a strong clinical focus on managing inflammatory bowel disease, gut microbiome health, Clostridioides difficile infections, and the prevention of colorectal cancer. Dr. Hsu is actively involved in research, particularly in the use of fecal microbiota transplantation, and participates in multiple clinical trials for gastrointestinal diseases. He also directs educational conferences and community outreach programs.

Nurse Manager
Janet Gripshover is a Family Nurse Practitioner currently serving as the Nurse Manager for Cedars-Sinai’s Liver Transplant program. After completing her training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, she spent three years in urgent care and correctional medicine before transitioning into the field of gastroenterology, hepatology, and transplant medicine. She has actively promoted advanced practice (AP) roles through the development of the AP HCV Consortium in Baltimore, MD, which served as an educational and networking platform for Baltimore-area APs interested in providing HCV treatment. Additionally, she founded and moderated the first hospital-sponsored Facebook support group for liver transplant recipients, earning the “New Media Award for Healthcare” from the *Baltimore Business Journal* and receiving recognition at national conferences. Janet is an active member of the Women’s Initiatives Committee of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) and the Advance Practice Provider Committee of the American College of Gastroenterology. She has also previously served as a member of the Hepatology Associates Committee with AASLD. She recently completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice/MBA dual degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.

Peter Buch, MD, AGAF, FACP, is a double board-certified clinical gastroenterologist, currently leading a team that treats all GI conditions. Dr. Buch sits on editorial boards for numerous professional journals and is a highly sought-after international presenter. Dr. Buch has a passion for teaching. His style is case-based, practical, very interactive and evidence supported. Dr. Buch’s expertise has been shared with experienced clinicians and advanced-level students. He teaches at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Frank H Netter School of Medicine/Quinnipiac University and the University of Connecticut APRN School.
